My name is Jeremy Crawley. I am currently enrolled in the Media Design MFA here at Full Sail University. I live and work in Denver, CO where I am currently trying to avoid the cold and snowy city this week. I have been doing UX/UI design for Starz Entertainment since I finished my undergraduate degree. I am hoping that this master’s program will give me the skills needed to take on more management responsibilities and eventually prepare me to run my own design agency. I pride myself in being full time creative outside of my nine to five doing design and freelance photography, playing music in multiple projects and running a small screen print shop out of my basement.
My intentions for learning this year at Full Sail University are to fill in the gaps in my knowledge of my career and industry. I would like to become more product minded and business centric. Typically creatives are not known for their professionalism and data driven decisions. I want to become a full stack designer with these traits. I also want to become more self aware and sharpen my skills in my craft. I want to stay current in my industry and not fall behind trends. I am looking to learn how to become a trendsetter and put my time in where it is needed. I am looking for leadership qualities while maintaining a down to earth and approachable demeanor.
I have already learned so much from this first class Mastery, and though I am nervous to dive into the pool with so many other well rounded creatives I am looking forward to it. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that await me in my future.
